I remember a month ago or so I read a forum post about pets not being able to follow you in The Dragon's Lair.... so now I made a Warrior/Ranger which uses a pet and tried to use him in The Dragon's Lair mission.... but STILL the pet has trouble going through the portal....

So then I decided to tell ArenaNet through their support thingy at www.guildwars.com with this message:

Can you fix how pets act in the Dragon Lair mission? Its the one where u have to
go through the different areas to reach Glint.

Whenever I go through one of those crystal portals, my pet is usually left
behind.

I get the usual email saying that my message was recieved and I will be contacted within etc...

So I get the e-mail later on that today, which is pretty quick, saying:

Thank you for contacting Guild Wars Support. In order to better assist you with this potential bug, please provide us with some more details:

Does you pet ever reappear? Or do you have to leave The Dragon's Lair?
Are you in a specific Quest or Mission? If so, which one?
Are you able to reproduce this and if so, what are the steps to reproduce?
What build did you see this in? (The build number is located in the bottom left corner of the Options Menu.)

The answers to these questions will help us to further investigate the issue.

Seemed reasonable enough, so I replyed to the e-mail... first time I messed up with the email reply cause I didn't put it where I was supposed to, and sent another reply using this message instead of my other one in according to what they wanted:

What happens is when I take my pet with me using nothing but henches as a
Warrior/Ranger taking a Melandru Stalker I named Takkun with me into The
Dragon's Lair mission you go into by pressing the Enter mission button in
The Dragon's Lair town, he tends ti be left behind in the crystal portals
when I go through them to get to the next area. Its actually sort of
random... I will explain:

There are times when I would go through these portals with my henchies and
they all would come through except for my pet... this happens everytime
except once when I did this mission with my character twice. I knew he was
being left behind because when he got left behind at the very first portal
to go through the first area, and when I got to the area with the Ranger
Boss Dragon and the slowdown world enchantment in it, I could notice my pet
on the other side of the wall in that first room.

And yes there was one time when I had lost my pet through one of the portals
and spend the next area without him, and suddenly I would go through the
portal after that one and he would be back, but only to be lost again when I
went into the one after that.

If need be I could spend the time getting proof of this... but I am pretty
sure its easy to do.

So after I sent that message to them, I got back this reply:

Am I missing something in my e-mails? Or are they just ignoring them? I thought I was pretty specific and told them enough to try it for themselves and notice the problem....

First, a few questions..

Just kidding :P probably a database bug. I'd try one more time if I were you then give up or post here about it

at least the CR reps here listen.

At least you did not get a reply stating you didnt have an active account with ncsoft.

I use the /bug command. Don't know if it still works now after the beta, but it still says "Thank you for your bug report" so it makes me feel like it's doing something.
